Extel Large Pewter Oval Saint Patrick Medal Pendant, Patron Saint of Ireland for Men with 24" chain. 1 x 5/8 inch satin finish pewter oval St. Patrick medal on a 24 inch stainless steel rhodium plated chain. The pendant features a raised image of Saint Patrick on the front, who is shown with his staff, driving the snakes out of Ireland. On the top and bottom of the pendant are the words, "Saint Patrick Pray For Us" with two crosses on the left and right sides respectively. The back of the medal is blank with a brushed finish. Includes a Saint Patrick card with his information, and is packaged in a poly bag with medal attached.Saint Patrick is credited with bringing Christianity to Ireland, where he used the shamrock/three leaf clove to explain the Holy Spirit to its people. He is said to also have banished all the snakes from Ireland. As such, he is the Patron Saint of the country.
